Sacred breath, sacred life.

Fall:
It’s fall! Now my weaving projects begin moving indoors. There, you will see bright pots of color filled with cold and hot dyes with future materials soaking. Meanwhile, we prepare barks, grasses, and sedges with precision and care. I love the feel of natural raw materials in hand. I am forever in awe of the preparation process.
Spring:
Welcoming, 'The New Eyes of Spring'. This spring, I am creating a fresh body of work where old and new ways meet. We never close our eyes to new growth. What happens to nature happens to us.
Weaving creates community and connects us to cultures, old and new. Reflecting on weaving expands our understanding. We are always learning from one another. Weaving is born from nature and we are nature herself. Nature, she teaches us. ‘All we have to do is listen’ (1992).
'Created Lines', ca. 2000 to present.
